No batteries, no line of sight, no manual scan. Here's what's actually happening.
Every tag we build is passive — it has no battery and no moving parts. The entire exchange below happens in a few milliseconds, dozens to hundreds of times a second, every time a tag passes a reader.
The three-step exchange
The same sequence whether it's a laundry tag on a conveyor or a credential at a door.
The reader sends a signal
A reader's antenna broadcasts a low-power radio signal into its read zone — a dock door, a conveyor, a handheld's range, a checkpoint.
The tag wakes up and responds
The tag has no battery — it draws power from the reader's own signal, then uses it to send back the ID and data stored on its chip.
The read becomes data
The reader passes what it captured to the software layer, which filters duplicates and turns raw reads into an inventory event.
It happens in the background, at full operating speed.
Nobody stops the line to scan. A dock door, a conveyor, or a checkpoint reads every tag that passes through its zone, dozens to hundreds a second, while the process keeps moving exactly as it already does.
One system, wherever you already track things
Taurus Bridge doesn't ask you to rebuild your workflow. Tag what you have, read it where it already moves, and let the data land where you need it.
On the object itself
Labels, hard tags, wristbands, and ear tags — chosen for the frequency and the environment, not just what's in stock.
- LF, HF/NFC, UHF — every frequency covered
- 200+ wash cycles — rated, not estimated
- On-metal to 220°C — built for industrial heat
Fixed, handheld, or both
Dock doors, conveyor lines, checkpoints, or a handheld in someone's hand — the reader goes where the read actually happens.
- Fixed UHF readers — portals and dock doors
- Handheld readers — cycle counts and audits
- Antennas — tuned for the site
Straight into your system
Structured reads flow into your WMS, ERP, or spreadsheet — not stuck in a proprietary app you have to check separately.
- Middleware & encoding — included, not extra
- Works with what you have — no forced platform
- One point of contact — for tags and hardware both
